About Subski
Subski was immaculately conceived as a result of a threesome between the USYD Men’s and Women’s Ski clubs and the Snowboarding Society about the last time fluoro was cool. Nowadays - SUBSKI has over 2000 members, making it the largest Uni sporting or recreational club in Australia (this unsupported statistic has been accurately provided by a totally drunken committee who did absolutely no painstaking research whatsoever – but we know it just HAS to be true!).
In case you don't know what we are about... well, we'd prefer to keep it that way so you have minimal expectations and we can sit back on our arses. But we do guarantee that your membership gets you the BEST year of your academic life! But seeing as you asked...SUBSKI 2010 will see 7 epic parties, 3 wicked ski trips and our greatest challenge: Retaking the Australian Uni Championship trophy from that filthy North Ryde TAFE (Mac Uni). See, not only are we the leading social club in Australia, we're also a damn good skiing and snowboarding club too. And as one of the few Uni’s still willing to fund sport, we (hopefully) will have the 2010 trophy in the bag!! However, the best thing about our club is that we don't use the word ski as a catch-cry; we have two social snow-bound jaunts. Our ski trips - for ALL standards - are the best social party weeks around.
